“And he asked for a writing tablet and wrote, ‘His name is John.’ And they all wondered. And immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, blessing God.” -Luke 1:63-64
Zechariah finally believed and was obedient in naming his son what the Lord instructed him to name him. His mouth was opened when he had faith and confirmed he would be naming his son John. When God loosened his tongue, he had 9 months worth of amazing things to share about all that God had been up to.
