Weekly Announcements (November 14-20)

Monday, November 14
Review the messages from yesterday and start applying some of the things you learned.

Tuesday, November 15
Pray for marriages in our church family, that the Lord would protect them and be glorified through them.
6:30 p.m.- Choir Practice for the Christmas Cantata at the Wainrights’ Home. A light dinner will be provided (I believe it’s pulled chicken BBQ). Don’t forget to bring your book and let Sis. Lydia know if you can come!

Wednesday, November 16
7:00 p.m.- Bible Study | We will continue our study of “Systematic Theology.”
Children’s Christmas Musical Practice | Drop your kids off at the annex at 7:00 p.m. for practice and pick them up after the service. Ages 3-High School will practice from 7-7:30. The middle/high-schoolers will join Bro. Wayne Gabbard for a devotional from 7:30-8:00, while the little ones will stay with Mrs. Lydia.
Pray for the children of NLBC today, that they will come to know Christ as their Savior and treasure Him above all things.

Thursday, November 17
Pray for your Pastor as he prepares for Sunday.

Friday, November 18
Pray for those at NLBC who are taking care of elderly parents at this time: strength to care for them, patience with them, and grace for the trying moments.

Saturday, November 19
Pray for the services along with those who are preaching and teaching tomorrow.  Prepare your heart for worship.

Sunday, November 20
10:00 a.m. – Sunday School
11:00 a.m. – Morning Worship (Bro. Anthony Vance will be preaching)
5:00 p.m.- Christmas Cantata Practice CANCELLED
6:00 p.m. – Special Time of Thanksgiving followed by a Soup & Sandwich Fellowship!

Share the Harvest
Over the next month, you are invited to share the bounty of your blessings with the Bob W. Brown House, a home for mentally and physically challenged adults. For more than 35 years, the BBH has provided a safe home, good food, and loving family to 14 challenged adults. The drastic increase in the cost of groceries and utilities has been hard on their small budget. Drop any donations you may have in the box by the front door. Thank you!

BGBS Scholarship Fund

Over the past few months, we have been contributing to a scholarship fund for our members attending Blue Grass Baptist School. If you would like to contribute to their Christian education, please write “BGBS Scholarship” on your offering envelope. (You can choose either to designate to the general scholarship fund or to a specific student.)
