Scripture at Sunrise 3.26.2012

Sunday Evening | Pastor Steve Wainright | “Moses’ Famous Last Words” | Deuteronomy 33

Moses’ last words were spent pronouncing blessings on the children of Israel. As he blessed them, he drew their attention to the Lord. Use your words to get others to focus on the Lord.

He painted a majestic picture of the Lord in vs. 2-5, reminding the children of Israel that their King was bigger than any problem or any fear. After pronouncing rich blessings on each tribe in vs. 6-25, he draws their focus back to the Lord: their Helper, Defense, Refuge, Offense, and Strength.

“Blessed (happy) are the people to whom such blessings fall! Blessed (happy) are the people whose God is the Lord!” -Psalm 144:15
Do people see the happy on your face?!
