Scripture at Sunrise 1.18.2016

Sunday Morning | Pastor Steve Wainright | Intro to Romans | Romans 1-16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” -Romans 1:16-17

Referred to as Paul’s Magnum Opus, Romans is all about the Gospel. In a nutshell, it’s about: God’s righteousness as seen in the law Christ has fulfilled. Sin has affected man’s righteousness and now God offers His perfect righteousness to all those who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
