“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.” -Psalm 103:2-4

“The thing that awakens the deepest well of gratitude in a human being is that God has forgiven sin.” -Oswald Chambers

Scripture at Sunrise 6.22.2020

And Asa cried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like You to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on You, and in Your Name we have come against this multitude. O Lord, you are our God; let not man prevail against You.” -2 Chronicles 14:11

Asa knew he was outnumbered and he cried to God for help. He looks not to his resources, but to his Source.

Scripture at Sunrise 2.26.2020

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” -Romans 10:13

There is cause for great concern if you look in the mirror of God’s Word and discover that you are lost. However, do not despair. A broken and contrite heart Christ will not despise, none who come to Him will be cast out, and whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord will be saved. -Paul Washer via Twitter
