  • Pray every day for the Lord to send someone your way who needs to hear the Gospel!

Emphasization on Memorization!

I know emphasization is not a word, but hey…I’ve got to use words that get your attention, right?!

I don’t know how many of you are memorizing Psalm 119 in the ESV, but if you are, Bro. Tom told me about this site where you can listen to a soothing voice with music in the background reading the longest psalm.

It helps reinforce what you’re already storing up in your heart (so that you might not sin against Him!) [vs. 11].

I hope you’re putting right along through this magnificent chapter of the Bible!

What a week!

  • It has been a busy week, but nevertheless it’s certainly been a blessed one!  I’m sorry the posts have been so sporadic this week.  Not only was it a crazy church week, it was a crazy school one, too!  Here are a few highlights from the week, followed by prayer requests and a couple of reminders.
  • First off, the Baptist Faith Missions Spring Conference was refreshing.  It was so neat to be with 10 missionaries at the same time!  :o)  I hope you were able to attend at least one night.
I was planning to put my sermon notes from the conference here, but I have misplaced my notebook.  Pray that I find it!  :o)
For those of you who haven’t found out yet, we learned at the conference Wednesday that Lydia is Steve’s pastor and I will make somebody a good husband.  haha!  I love it when people give us bloopers to remember!
  • In other news…the guys returned from the Together from the Gospel Conference yesterday.  We are having to grab them by their feet and pull them back down to earth!  Check out the full post here.

*Pray for Amy Tate (the youngest daughter) in Tanzania…she has contracted the measles.
*Ursula Draper- health problems (missionary to Brazil)
*Carrie Radford- should be delivering any day!  (missionary to Kenya)
*Continue to pray for Sis. Barb and Bro. Paul as well.  Eric’s funeral will be held tomorrow and the previous post contains all that information.
