Scripture at Sunrise 01.04.2021

“saying, ‘Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours, be done.'” -Luke 22:42

Sometimes God answers our prayers even when He knows it is not what is best for us. Hezekiah prayed for 15 more years of life, but they ended up being the worst years of his life.

Hezekiah wanted his own will. We need to learn “Not my will but Yours be done.”

Scripture at Sunrise 12.28.2020

“With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.” -2 Chronicles 32:8

When we realize our weakness, that’s when we rely on His strength.
