Scripture at Sunrise 11.01.2021

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” -Psalm 42:4-5

God will give us more than we can handle, but never more than He can handle. He does this so we’ll depend on Him, that we may know Him in a greater way. -Josh Wilson (excerpts from Sunday Evening Sermon “Preaching the Gospel to Yourself When Your Soul is Downcast” from Psalms 42-43Listen)

Scripture at Sunrise 9.2.2019

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” -Romans 8:28

Life gets tough. When you are waiting and thinking about the unknown or what could be, you can become anxious and worried. Don’t think upon the unknown. Concentrate on what you DO know: God is love. God is good. He is working all things together for your good. Focus on what you do know and you will have peace.
