Scripture at Sunrise 5.25.09

“Brothers, pray for us. Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.”  -1 Thessalonians 5:25-26

We, the people at the Next Conference, trust you had a wonderful day in the Lord at New Life yesterday!

Since the church secretary is presently in Baltimore for the conference, there was no way she could post her notes from yesterday’s New Life messages as she normally does every Monday on the blog.

Therefore, she leaves you with a few links from what the Next-ers have been hearing over the past few days.  You are encouraged to leave YOUR notes from today’s NLBC messages in the comment section!  🙂

Simplify your life!

So there’s this little application has changed my life over the past few months.  I am a huge google fan anyway, but this is just over the top amazing!  :o)  I just had to share it with you all so you could benefit, too!  GoogleReader compiles all the updates from your favorite blogs into one little place!  You can subscribe to like 100 blogs and rather than clicking on each one to see if it’s updated, you only click on it when you KNOW it’s updated!  It’s great!

To explain this whole thing to you, John Piper’s son, Abraham, has written a tutorial.  It will take you no more than 5 minutes to do!  And when you do it, be sure to add this blog to your list!  :o)

I will be more than happy to personally help anyone who wants it!  (And if you don’t have an iGoogle homepage, that’s pretty nifty, too…you can even add the google reader to your igoogle page to simplify your life even more)!

I apologize if I’m using jibberish that’s over your head!  Let me know if I am!

1 Corinthians 10:31

So my previous post, “All Creatures Great and Small” inspired a whole new blog centered around one idea: how to glorify God even in the little things.  I hope this will help you be more aware of the command found in 1 Corinthians 10:31!  Check it out here: http://firstcorinthians1031.wordpress.com/

Thanks for just being you!  :o)
