Sunday Morning | God is For You | Romans 8:31-34
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” -Romans 8:31-34
When God is for you, it doesn’t matter who is against you. God cannot condemn you if He’s justified you! -excerpts from Steve Wainright’s Morning Sermon
Sunday Morning | Struggling but Victorious | Romans 7:24-8:1
“Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” -Romans 7:24-8:1
The redeemed man still has the flesh and is still going to battle with the flesh, but we have victory because of what Jesus Christ has done! Though you struggle, there is no condemnation if you are in Christ Jesus. -excerpt from Steve Wainright’s Morning Sermon
“Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only Son of God.” -John 3:18
God will not clear sinners without punishing their sin. Someone has to be condemned–and God’s Son was condemned in the place of the believer.

Sunday Evening Sermon: God’s Saving Purpose | John 3:17 | Anthony Vance
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” -John 3:17
Jesus did not come into the world to pronounce condemnation. We were condemned already. He came, not to execute His judgment, but to save men from it.
