Sunday Morning | No CondemnationRomans 8:1-2
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” -Romans 7:24-8:1

Right now, if you are in Christ, there is no condemnation over you. The wrath of God has been appeased by Christ. This does not say that there is no cause for condemnation, but that there is no condemnation because of what Christ has done for us. -excerpt from Steve Wainright’s Morning Sermon

Scripture at Sunrise 9.14.2016

“Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only Son of God.” -John 3:18

God will not clear sinners without punishing their sin. Someone has to be condemned–and God’s Son was condemned in the place of the believer.
