Sunday Morning | Pastor Steve Wainright | Galatians 3:15-22 | The Law & The Promise (Audio)
“But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.” -Galatians 3:22

The covenant of the law has a different function from the covenant of the promise. The law shows we are lawbreakers who deserve the wrath of God. The law was given so that we might look to Christ.

Sunday Morning | Pastor Steve Wainright | Galatians 3:10-14 | Redeemed (Audio)
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…” — Galatians 3:13

The law shows our inability in the flesh to please God. The law demands perfection and we are all cursed. No one is justified by the law, but by FAITH.

Sunday Morning | Pastor Steve Wainright | Galatians 3:1-5
“Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?” -Galatians 3:3

Do you really believe you began by the Spirit and then are perfected by your works? HE began it. HE’ll complete it. Philippians 1:6 –  “And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
