“We remember the fish we ate in Egypt that cost nothing, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic.” – Numbers 11:5

Sin wants you to forget how much it costs.

“We remember the fish we ate in Egypt that cost us nothing.” – Num. 11:5

The Israelites longed to go back to Egypt because they looked on their former slavery with rose-colored glasses.

Since Satan can’t destroy the gospel, he’ll do whatever he can to destroy its messengers.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” -Romans 12:2

One of the most dangerous things a Christian can do right now is neglect Bible reading. Thousands of voices are attempting to convince you how to think. Be certain, you are being shaped. More Scripture, less social media. More Bible, less books. More prayer, less blog posts. -Garrett Kell via Twitter

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, β€œI will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Hebrews 13:5

People do not need to be entertained or encouraged that this trial will pass. They need to be enamored with Jesus and assured that He will be with them no matter how long it lasts. -Garrett Kell via Twitter

“And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe…” -John 19:2

In the Garden God cursed the ground with thorns.
On the cross Jesus wore a crown of thorns.
His glory was to wear our curse on His head.
