“And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.” -2 Chronicles 34:2
What does it mean to do right in the sight of the Lord? It very simply means having a habit of seeking God in every situation. -Pastor Steve Wainright (excerpt from Sunday Evening Sermon “Youthful Godliness” from 2 Chronicles 34)
“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled…” -Hebrews 12:15
There are many people who are lonely. There are many who are sick, afflicted, discouraged, weary, and ready to quit. Don’t look within, look without. We are living in a hurting world. Have you reached out?
We need to be looking diligently because there are people around us who are tempted to stop running the race, give up, and throw in the towel. -Pastor Steve Wainright (excerpts from Sunday Morning Sermon “Look Diligently” from Hebrews 12:15)

“But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” -Job 23:10
Sometimes the lonely places are where God puts us so we can be alone with Him. There are times you might feel all alone, discouraged or depressed, but God is at work. That’s His preparation time. –excerpt from Steve Wainright’s Sunday Evening Sermon:“God’s Preparation Time”

“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me.” -Psalm 57:2
David found safety from Saul and peace in the Cave of Adullam, where he possibly wrote Psalm 57. God is the One who brings us to the caves where we are alone with Him. There are lessons that can only be learned in the dark. David was lonely, but trusted the Lord. He knew God would fulfill His purpose for his life.
The cave helps us focus on what is really important and will help redefine your priorities. God will use the cave in your life to write His banner of love over your life.
