Scripture at Sunrise 12.01.2021

“This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” -John 15:12-13

When we see how loving this Friend is to us, how could we not be loving to one another? -Johnathon Bush (excerpt from “You Are My Friends”)

Scripture at Sunrise 4.30.2018

“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.” -Romans 13:8
God is calling you to be a love debtor. Because of the great mercy God has shown you, you are in debt to love a lost and dying world. –excerpt from Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon

Foretelling & Answering

Scripture at Sunrise 3.19.2018

“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” -Romans 12:9-10
Our world has a twisted definition of love. When sin entered the world, it perverted the meaning of love. Communion with God was broken. Sin has marred the love we should have for God and one another. The only way our love can be restored is by trusting in Christ.

Love should be the rule for the child of God, stimulated by the Spirit of God through the mercies of God. Know the depths of God’s love for you so that you may love others genuinely without facade or hypocrisy.

Scripture at Sunrise 11.20.2017

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” -1 Corinthians 13:13

At the root of all sin is a failure to love. Loving God and loving others sums up the whole law. Salvation is God sending His Son to die for your lack of love–either your failure to love God or love others–and giving you a heart to love. –excerpts from Ron Crisp’s Sunday Evening Sermon

and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” -Romans 5:5
