Every human relationship is marked by broken promises, weakness and failure, but God’s promises are sure, he is never weak and will never fail us.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” -John 13:34

God’s plan for your relationships is simple, “Love one another as I have loved you.” Are you living inside of His plan? There’s enabling grace that’s yours in Christ Jesus, so you can actually live and love this way.  -Paul Tripp via Twitter

“…but you shall love your neighbor as yourself…” -Leviticus 19:18

It’s nearly impossible to love our neighbors if we don’t know our neighbors. And herein lies the tension of our times: We live in such a connected world with such limited or nonexistent connection. Relationships matter. Stories matter. -E. Cho

Sunday Evening | Pastor Steve Wainright | 2 Samuel 13 | A Story of Lust (Audio)
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” -1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love does not lead into sin. It seeks to protect. It seeks the best for others.
Lust is not rational. You cannot reason with lust. Lust only seeks self-gratification.
