Scripture at Sunrise 09.06.2021

“Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.” -Nehemiah 2:4

To be a better servant of the Lord, we must be patient, show respect to those in authority, have a lifestyle of prayer, give God the glory, expect opposition, pick your battles, and understand that the battle belongs to the Lord. Have faith in Him! (excerpts from Sunday Evening Sermon “Being a Servant of the Lord” from Nehemiah 2)

Scripture at Sunrise 12.16.2019

“Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.” -Titus 3:1-2

We are to submit to government rulers and authorities. You might not agree with them, but you are submit to them and show them and their office respect. You don’t ever want to alienate someone from hearing the Gospel of Christ.

-Steve Wainright (excerpts from Sunday morning sermon from Titus 3: How then shall we live?)
