Review the messages from yesterday and start applying some of the things you learned. Pray for the Lord to reveal truths you need to apply.
Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all who have served to protect our freedoms. 

Tuesday, November 12
Pray for marriages in our church family, that the Lord would protect them and be glorified through them. Pray for our building & finance committees.

Wednesday, November 13
Pray for the children of NLBC today, that they will come to know Christ as their Savior and treasure Him above all things.
7:00 p.m. – Bible Study & Prayer Meeting – Bro. Josh Wilson will be preaching.

Thursday, November 14
Pray for your Pastor and your Sunday School teachers as they study for this weekend.

Friday, November 15
Pray that God would be merciful to our nation.

Saturday, November 16
Pray for the services along with those who are preaching and teaching tomorrow. Prepare your heart for worship.
10:30 am-Noon – Ladies’ Bible Study at the home of Wanda C. (Lesson #8)

Sunday, November 17
10:00 a.m. – Sunday School
11:00 a.m. Morning Worship
3:00 p.m. – Service at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center Eisenhower Unit
5:00 p.m. – Choir Practice
5:30 p.m. – Men’s Prayer Meeting
6:00 p.m. – Evening Worship

Our Pastor will be teaching a new members class during the Sunday School hour (10:00-11:00 a.m.) for those who are interested in getting to know more about what we believe.

Nursery
Our nursery will be open during the morning and evening services.  Also, we need volunteers to stay in the nursery. If we get several then hopefully each person would only have to help one Sunday every 2-3 months. See Anita B. or Louise H. to volunteer.

“Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee. And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in…” -1 Chronicles 7:2-4

What do you do if the Lord says “No” to what you feel you need to do? What happens if you cannot fulfill the desire in your heart? If you can’t do what you have desired, do like David and help those who can.

~8:15 p.m. – Make remaining goody bags for Trick or Treat Outreach

Thursday, October 31
Pray for your Pastor and your Sunday School teachers as they study for this weekend.

We will be setting up a table and handing out candy and tracts to the children as they are trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. If you can donate a bag or two (or more) of candy that would be great. If you would be willing to volunteer to help hand out the candy and tracts, please see Wayne G.

“For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God…” -Titus 1:5-7a

All the traits of a godly leader flow out of this one: blameless. People are looking at your life. Be a role model. Be blameless. We should strive to be blameless, where if we are accused of something, the charges would not stick.
