Scripture at Sunrise 11.19.2018

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee…” -John 17:1
In this chapter, we hear Him who is ever-interceding interceding for us and get a glimpse into what He’s still doing today. He is our anchor that holds within the veil. excerpt from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Sunday Evening Sermon

Scripture at Sunrise 11.12.2018

“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33
Can we have peace in the midst of any trial? When we’re under pressure, facing “the big squeeze”, cheer up! Be of a strong heart. Take courage! Why? Because Jesus has overcome the world. He will never fail you. He will never leave you. He’s reliable. He can truly be trusted. He loves you unconditionally. He is your hope.

Scripture at Sunrise 10.29.2018

“…holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.” -1 Timothy 1:19-20
The worst of shipwrecks do not happen out at sea. Many professing Christians have suffered shipwreck. It happens subtly by allowing sin to go unchallenged in your life. –excerpt from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon
