Sin wants you to forget how much it costs.

The Israelites longed to go back to Egypt because they looked on their former slavery with rose-colored glasses.
Sin assures you that its pain was worth its pleasure.

Once sin starts, it starts swelling. It is serious and is not something to dabble in. If you start getting into sin just a little bit, it will wrap around you tighter and tighter until you are bound. However, God’s Word offers hope. He is your Help.
