Morning Audio: Who do you say Jesus is? | Evening Audio: Gideon’s Shrinking Army
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. –2 Corinthians 12:9
The way the Lord prepares His army is different from the way we would prepare ours. He actually strengthens His army by subtracting from it. He whittled down Gideon’s army to 300 people to fight against an army of 135,000. Why does He do that? So no flesh could glory in His presence. Everyone would be able to see that God was the One giving the victory.
