“Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.” -Hebrews 2:1

It’s very easy for your feet to start slipping and you don’t even know it. It’s easy to drift away. May we have a Christ-centered focus. He’s greater than any troubles that we face.

Scripture at Sunrise 3.16.2020

Of the angels he says,“He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.” But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” -Hebrews 1:7-9

The more you think on Christ, the more you think of Christ; He is more highly exalted in your mind.

-Steve Wainright (excerpt from Sunday Morning Sermon from Hebrews 1:7-14– “Christ Exalted Above Angels“)
