Morning Audio: Shine! (Luke 8:16-18)

“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.” -Luke 8:16
When one has heard the Gospel and received it, heavenly sunlight shines through their dark heart. Wherever you are, you need to be a shining light. We are called to be lights in a dark society.

“…that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.” -Philippians 2:15

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.” -Psalm 36:9
In His light we see light and that light informs all of our decisions.

“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” -Philippians 2:13
People will come to know the Lord through you. When you know God is working through you and using you, you have intestinal fortitude.

Don’t hide your light. Let it shine. As the light of the Word is proclaimed, sinfulness, darkness, and evil deeds are exposed.

SHINE where God has placed you!
