Scripture at Sunrise 4.20.2020

“Therefore He had to be made like His brothers in every respect, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For because He Himself has suffered when tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.” -Hebrews 2:17-18

Jesus Christ came and took our place and took the wrath of God upon Himself for our sins. God saved us from Himself by sending Christ as our propitiation.

Monday, April 13
>>Pray for the families and friends who have already lost someone they love as a result of Covid-19. That they would be draw close to God and would experience His comfort and peace. John 16:33

Tuesday, April 14
>>Pray for all the medical workers who are serving on the front lines because of the Covid-19 epidemic. That God would strengthen them and protect them from contracting the virus as they sacrificially serve others. Isaiah 40:29

Wednesday, April 15
>>Pray for every person who is sick with the Covid-19 virus. That they would fully recover from this disease and that God would bring them and their families comfort and peace. Psalm 41:3

>>Pray for everyone who is suffering hardship of any kind because of the Covid-19 virus (unemployed, lonely, isolated, depressed, in need, homeless, and afraid). That God would provide for them and show them the full breadth of His love. John 14:27

Saturday, April 18
>>Pray for the public servants who are continually serving our towns and cities amidst the Covid-19 crisis. (Grocery workers, Postmen, Police, EMS, Trash collectors, restaurant workers bus drivers, and all other essential workers). That God would shield them from the virus, and give them endurance to persevere through difficulties. Joshua 1:9
