Scripture at Sunrise 8.12.2019

“But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience…” -2 Timothy 3:10-13

The way you live your life reflects your core beliefs. In this present evil age, we need men and women of faith who are willing to take a stand for truth and not back down. We need men and women who have godly character. Our young people need godly examples to imitate. –excerpt from Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon “Needed: Godly Examples!”

Scripture at Sunrise 7.8.2019

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” -2 Timothy 2:20-22

You are a vessel, either of honor or dishonor. To be a vessel of honor, you must purge what is unclean and be set apart unto God and from the world.

Scripture at Sunrise 7.1.2019

“For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.” -Amos 5:4-5

The Israelites were focused on the place (Bethel), but what made it special was that God met them there! If there is anything special about this building, it will be because God meets us here. We need the presence of God.
