“Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.” -1 Timothy 5:1-2

Scripture at Sunrise 1.7.2019

“If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” -1 Timothy 4:6-8

Spiritual training in godliness is priceless. It is profitable for everything in your life. You must have the right spiritual diet and exercise. Nourish yourself. Eat what is good for you: the truth of God’s Word. As you love God’s Word, you live God’s Word. Let it settle and sink in and saturate your life. –excerpt from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon

Scripture at Sunrise 12.24.2018

Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:

He was manifested in the flesh,
vindicated by the Spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among the nations,
believed on in the world,
taken up in glory.”
-1 Timothy 3:16

What a song to sing this Christmas and all throughout the year: the Gospel of Jesus Christ! –excerpt from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon

Scripture at Sunrise 12.17.2018

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” -Exodus 20:7-8
How you view God will reflect in how you use His Name. The reputation of a person’s name is defined by their character and life. Misusing His Name is not just associated with language, but also with your actions. This command is centered on how you are living. –excerpts from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Wednesday Evening Sermon
