“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33
Can we have peace in the midst of any trial? When we’re under pressure, facing “the big squeeze”, cheer up! Be of a strong heart. Take courage! Why? Because Jesus has overcome the world. He will never fail you. He will never leave you. He’s reliable. He can truly be trusted. He loves you unconditionally. He is your hope.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” -Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart and guard your doctrine. If you don’t guard yourself, you’ll pollute yourself–and then what kind of witness will you be? The world needs to see genuine, sincere, devoted Christians who have wholly surrendered to Him. –excerpt from Pastor Steve Wainright’s Sunday Morning Sermon
