2 Corinthians 10:7-18 | Morning Service | Pastor Steve Wainright

Marks of Spiritual Leaders:

• Must be of Christ and have a personal relationship with Him. (vs. 7)
• Build up others spiritually. (vs. 8)
• Love for the people. (vs. 9)
• Speak the Word of God. (vs. 10)
• Consistent in character. (vs. 11)
• Humility. (vs. 12-18) Realizing you’re spiritually bankrupt, poor in spirit, and you’re unworthy of God’s grace. Real leaders desire to give the glory to the right One, the only One who deserves the glory anyway.

1)Give glory to God. (vs. 31)
2)Don’t offend fellow believers. (vs. 32)

Do ALL to the glory of God.
1)Our aim: the glory of God.

        Bringing glory to self is prideful and robs God of His deserved glory. So often we crave the attention and favor of others, but we should do what we do for the glory of God rather than the praise and spotlight of men.

2)The action: Do. Do.
You’re always doing something and that something should glorify God. Be doers of the Word! Don’t be concerned with falling short, be concerned about your aim.

3)The extent: Everything (whether, whatever, all)

Question to ask yourself: “If I _____, will it glorify God?”
