Jesus was perfectly obedient and submitted to His parents. Jesus could’ve come as a sinless baby, die to pay our sin debt, and leave, but He stayed to live a perfect life that He might also give us His righteousness. [2 Corinthians 5:21]
I can’t live a perfect life, but Christ took my place and gave me His righteous status. He is the One who gave us His righteousness, therefore, we should desire to live righteously.
